Rosecrans is Number One

The newest Associated Press Poll is out, and the Rosecrans Bishops are number one in the state for the first time in school history. The Bishops have been inching towards Dayton Jefferson Township, the defending Division IV state champions. This week they passed them, despite receiving five less first place votes. In Division II, Zanesville continues their ascent, moving from six to five this week in the latest rankings.

Division IV AP State Poll

1. Rosecrans (9) 13-0 230 pts

2. Dayton Jefferson (14) 10-2, 220

3. Berlin Hiland (3) 12-1, 178

4. Continental 12-1, 166

5. McComb 11-0, 156

Division II AP State Poll

1. Dayton Dunbar (18) 11-2, 238 pts

2. Carrollton (4) 12-0, 175

3. Akron Buchtel (2) 10-1, 174

4. Chillicothe (1) 9-1

5. Zanesville 11-2, 115
