Heavy Storms Knock Out Power

by George Hiotis on June 8, 2011

Some severe storms that ripped through our area Tuesday dropped some heavy rain, featured vibrant lightning and included some power outages. American Electric Power is reporting that as of 1:45 pm there are 346 customers without service in Muskingum County. In Licking County there are 2,178 customers without power and 135 customers lost service in Morgan County.   A-E-P has not announced yet when service will be restored. There were also many area roads that flooded with water in Zanesville during the heaviest downpours of rain, but quickly receded once the storms passed.

***UPDATE***

All Power Restored by A-E-P.
