At this point of winter, warm weather and baseball seem a long way away. But, believe it or not, we are just about a month from spring training. The Cincinnati Reds are back and ready to make another postseason run, and the Reds Caravan is back in town to generate excitement.

Today, the Reds made their annual stop here in Zanesville as apart of their North Tour across Central Ohio. A good crowd was on hand at WHIZ to welcome several reds greats into Zanesville. Some of the faces, included outfielder Billy Hamilton and broadcasters Jim Kelch and Jeff Brantley. Reds Hall of Famer Tom Browning was even on hand to sign autographs and talk with the fans.

The caravan is apart of WHIZ’s radio affiliation with the club. Remember you can listen to each and every Reds game this season on AM 240. As for the players, they’re ready for big things in 2014, and are happy to raise excitement for the season.
