Residents of The Primrose Retirement Community, along with their family and friends, enjoyed food, fun, and a performance of the Arabian Nights Tuesday evening.
The retirement community celebrated 6 years of being in Zanesville . Shala Steinman, executive director of primrose, says she is thankful to the people of Zanesville for allowing Primrose to take care of their family and friends.
"We are both independent living and assisted living. We have nurses on staff 24/7 and have a very quality staff that have been here for, most of them have been here since the day we opened our doors. "
Steinman is included with the staff that has been with Primrose since they opened. Janice Arcuri, on the other hand, has only been with Primrose for three years. As a resident of the community, she told us she enjoys living at Primrose and doesn’t know which is better, the food or the rooms. Janice also raved about the many entertainment options available at her home.
"Oh they have a couple bands that come, and they have crafts. We have a bell choir, which I’m in, and they have a choirs that sings. So, we are very busy!" said Janice.
The community’s anniversary celebration Tuesday evening ran from 5:00p.m. to 9:00p.m.
