Woman Allegedly Robs Ameristop Store

 Coshocton County Sheriff's Office investigates suspected robery.

On Friday evening at 5:10 an employee of the Ameristop Store on Ostego Ave. at Fairy Falls Drive reported that a woman handed her a note demanding money from the cash register. According to Coshocton authorities, the woman was described as a white female of medium build with white hair, and wearing a green coat and black gloves. Authorities said, the clerk turned over an undetermined amount of money to the suspect who fled the store on foot. A customer in the store advised responding officers that the suspect who he thought to be in her 50's headed towards Fairy Falls Drive. No weapons were seen by the clerk and there we no injuries reported. The incident remains under investigation.
