Man Indicted In Z-ville Church Stabbing

A Zanesville man has been indicted in connection with a stabbing at an area church.  Muskingum County Prosecutor Mike Haddox says that 25-year-old Kerron Brantley has been indicted on one count each of attempted murder, felonious assault, breaking and entering, possession of criminal tools and tampering with evidence. Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says the incident happened February 13th at the First Church of God at 1930 Newark Road.  The Sheriff says the victim suffered non life-threatening injuries. Brantley remains in the Muskingum County Jail.
