Airplanes came in for a landing today to help raise money. Eleven planes taxied down North Point Dr. by police escort and ended up at the Lowes parking lot in Zanesville.
"We have a project called Lowes Heroes and what we do is we look for something we can raise money for. This year we picked Muskingum County Disaster Services." said Doug Hobson, commercial sales manager, Lowes.
To help raise money, visitors could buy raffle tickets to win a drill. Also, Dominos Pizza and Coc-Cola were on hand to serve refreshments and make donations. Lowes thought the airplanes would draw a lot of people out to support the program.
