The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a family camping trip that turned deadly. Sheriff’s detective Steve Welker says 26-year-old Benjamin Mangold and his 21-year-old wife Celina Gwilyn and their two-month-old daughter of Avondale were camping with family at Blue Rock State Park on Saturday. Detective Welker says when the parents awoke Sunday Morning the baby, Terra Mangold, was not breathing. Welker says they attempted C-P-R and then called for an ambulance. The baby was pronounced dead at Genesis. An autopsy has been performed and now authorities are awaiting results. The case remains under investigation.
