Happy Birthday to Gertrude Scheider and it’s been over a century in the making. Gertrude is a resident at Willow Haven Nursing Home and today, she celebrated her 105th birthday. Residents and friends gathered to honor this woman, who has seen so much in a lifetime. Gertrude is a devout catholic and the staff feels her faith has been a key to her living one hundred and five years. Gertrude received certificates from Governor Bob Taft and President Bush recognizing her monumental age. She is originally from Somerset, OH.
