Business at the Northside Garden Center has been blooming for over 25 years. But owner, Don Melhorn, said it’s time to close the doors of the retail side of the business. He said the customers have been really great over the 25 years, but he’s 64 years old and he’s tired. Melhorn plans to keep the wholesale side of his business, which is a tree farm. He said the key to 25 years of success has been quality of service. In his new found spare time, he plans on fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Northside Garden Center will close June 30. In the meantime, they’re having a 35% discount sale on most store items.
