Prominent Zanesville Man Dies

The Zanesville Community is mourning one of its prominent citizens. Following a brief illnesses Charles Goelz a lifelong resident of Zanesville passes away this morning at the age of 95. He was active in many community projects and is most known for having perfect attendance at the Zanesville Rotary since 1930. Elden Hudson said that he has a lot of good memories of his best friend and neighbor. Visitation will be held on Friday at Hillis Funeral Home from 2 until 4 p.m. and then again from 7 until 9 p.m. The funeral is scheduled for Saturday at 10 in the morning at St. Nicholas Catholic Church.
