A Coshocton County Sheriff's deputy is recovering today from a shooting incident near Warsaw. It happened Monday
morning.
Sheriff Tim Rogers says deputy Jim Mcdonald was called to a residence to investigate a sexual imposition complaint against 51-year-old James Ginther. Ginther confronted the officer on the property and shot him in the chest. Mcdonald was wearing a bulletproof vest. He returned fire, striking Ginther, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Rogers says it was a justified shooting. A Grand Jury will review it.
