Tooth Decay is the single most common chronic childhood disease and the Zanesville-Muskingum county Health Department is working to stop it. On August 2nd, they’ll team up with Wendy’s and WHIZ to sponsor a “Caring for Kids” Dental screening day. Local dentists will be on hand at tall five Zanesville Wendy’s locations. The event will promote awareness and educate kids and parents about the importance of good dental health and regular check-ups. The event is for kids ages 3 to 8 and will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will also be drawings for prizes and each child receives a free goodie bag.
