More than 100 recycling and litter prevention programs from across the state are working hard to save the planet. Representatives from the programs have united for a three-day recycling conference at the Zanesville Holiday Inn. During the Conference attendees have a chance to go to workshops and meetings to discuss and share ideas. Muskingum County Commissioner, Dorothy Montgomery, was the keynote speaker for today’s conference luncheon. In her address, she shared stories of how her family recycled during the Depression. Muskingum County received a good report concerning it’s recycling efforts, one Joyce Gibbs of the Recycling/Litter Prevention Program said one goal of the county is to increase the number of area recycling bins.
