Muskingum County Sheriff Bob Stephenson announced today that he has hired a jail program director. Stephenson stated that Shelly Kenily will assume her duties immediately. Kenily holds a bachelor of arts degree in criminology from Capital University and is a certified chemical dependency counselor. Kenily will oversee programming for the county jail. Her hiring coincides with the opening of operations for the recently renovated 3rd floor minimum security work release. Kenily, who is the daughter-in-law of Muskingum County Commissioner Ed Kenily, will be available to meet the public this coming Sundat at an open house on the 3rd floor of the Sheriff's office. That event runs from 1PM to 4PM.
