The patriotic summertime months give honor to those that have fought for our country. And, unfortunately some of those veterans are now alone living in hospitals or nursing homes. But today, the flag waving in the breeze symbolized freedom once again as the group set off on a trip down the river in the lorena sternwheeler. They are from the veteran’s hospital in Chillicothe, where still today they’re dealing with the scars of war. The 505 chapter of the Knights of Columbus set up the trip down the Muskingum River that included dinner.
