A heat wave has gripped many parts of the country. Here's some info on how to protect yourself and your loved ones from heat stroke. The symptoms include: headache, weakness,lightheadedness, muscle aches, muscle cramps, agitation, confusion hallucinations, bizarre behavior, seizure, and coma. If you see someone who appears to be suffering from a heat related illness, call for help immediately, sprinkle lukewarm water on the skin and fan the patient, and apply ice packs to the neck, underarms, and groin.
