Two people who held off authorities for nearly 26 hours at a Morgan County campground have been charged with one count of felonious assault with a gun specification. The charges have been filed against 48-year old Michael Ferryman and 47-year old Maria Hosinger. Morgan County Sheriff Tomas Jenkins says the two were arrested Thursday evening after they had baricaded themselves in the camper where they lived on the American Electric Power Recreation Lands near Malta. Jenkins says the seige began when the couple apparently became upset earlier in the week after two campers took firewood from a community pile. Ferryman is being held at the Muskingum County Jail in Zanesville on $275,000 bond. Hosinger is being held in the same jail on $250,000 bond.
