If you didn’t already know, Zanesville has it’s own festival now, and for the 2nd year in a row. It’s called “I Love Living in Zanesville” and it is put on by the County Commissioners Office and the City of Zanesville. It kicks off this Saturday September 15th at 10am. Activities planned for the day long event are Chalk on the Walk, face painting, and of course there will be good eats available for everyone who attends. A new event makes its debut this year during the festivities. A 5-K race will be held with registration starting at 3:00pm on the 6th Street Bridge. That will go from 4 until 5.
There will be additional activities at Putnam Landing starting at 5 ranging from Miss Greater Zanesville singing the National Anthem, to other entertainment and bands like Matt Frampton and Adam Jones. This event has some roots, however this is only the second for the actual festivities. Fireworks will be held around 10 pm on Saturday night and can be seen from the canal.
