With investors watching, the stock market opened today as the U.S. tries to regain it’s footing after last week’s attacks. The Dow closed down 684 points and the NASDAQ was also down 115 points. Even before trading began, the Federal reserve cut interest rates a half a point to 3 percent, in an effort to further stabilize the economy.
