The coalition of schools that sued Ohio over its school-funding system is ready to ask the Ohio Supreme Court not to reopen the case. The Coalition for Equity and Adequacy of School Funding is expected to ask the Supreme Court later today to stand by its September 6th ruling. The court has ordered the state to spend more money in order to make its school funding system constitutional. The state asked the court to reconsider a portion of its ruling after estimates pegged the additional cost at 1.2 billion dollars a year.
