Later this week a grand jury will hear the case of 35-year-old Dawn Martin who has been charged with voluntary manslaughter of her boyfriend. 63-year-old James Breneman Jr. was shot in the chest while in his home on McCormick Road early Saturday Morning in what police say appears to be a domestic dispute. Muskingum County Sheriff Detective Steve Welker said Brenamen was shot with a sawed-off shotgun. It happened around 4 in the morning and 2-adults witnessed the shooting. Martin was arraigned late Sunday in addition tot he manslaughter charge, she also faces one count gun specification and one count possession of a dangerous ordinance. Martin is being held in the Muskingum County Jail.
