Without hesitation or complaint, they risk their lives to save another. On Sunday afternoon, the Newark and West Licking Fire Department gathered at the Newark courthouse to honor their unsung heroes. As the flag was flown at half-staff, the firefighters of Licking County remembered the fallen commrades. The memorial also honored the fallen firefighters of New York City.
