The Perry County Commissioners have called a special meeting for this week to deal with a major Sheriff's Department problem. The issue, when are laid off deputies and other employees going back to work. A federal arbitrator ruled two weeks ago that the employees must be returned to their jobs within five days. But commissioners say they do not have the funds and are waiting for prosecutor Joe Flaut to give them some direction. The meeting, which will include the county budget commissioner, is set for tomorrow night at 7pm in the office of the County Commissioners.
