Things are picking up in the area thanks to a program that was initiated by the Muskingum County Commons Pleas Court System. Through an idea that began with the Adult Probation Office, probationers that have been sentenced through the court are helping to properly dispose of illegally dumped items. In a five to six hour time frame, the crew is able to remove up to 3 tons of debris.
