Another school district will have their turn for a new facility..this time it's Northern Local. The whole school and many community members were on hand for the ground-breaking ceremony of the New Sheridan High School. The district is set for the building of a 21 million-dollar high school and 47 million dollars in improvements for other facilities as well. The need is evident by the growing enrolment and 28 modular classrooms in use. The site work has already begun and the upgrades will increase the district’s square footage by one hundred and five percent. The new high school should be completed in time for the 2003-2004 school year.
