With the holiday’s fast approaching, the Salvation Army is getting ready for their Angel Tree Campaign, but this year there are a few changes. It will now be known as the Angel Tree Toy Shop. The tree will still be up at the mall, but now the ornaments will list just a child’s gender and age. The Salvation Army’s goal is to have at least 2 presents for each child. The distribution phase has also changed; the mall will now hold a toy drive every Saturday to collect the presents. The goal of the toy drive is to bring in 6 hundred toys each day. They hope to be able to provide 2 new presents for each child, which the parents will pick-up at the Salvation Army.
