The American Red Cross has had many bloodmobiles in Muskingum County, but up until now there has not been one sponsored by a family. Sue Roberts of Philo and her family decided to co-sponsor a bloodmobile Saturday to help replace the blood supply used by her 30-year old son Kevin. Kevin and his then girlfriend 32 year old Michelle Runyion were injured in a motorcycle accident earlier this year. The family decided that the bloodmobile was the least that they could do. Since Kevin's accident, they have come to realize how very important blood donations are to the American Red Cross and the communities that they serve. Kevin has been hospitalized since the accident. On a happier note: Kevin asked Michelle to marry him once he is released from the hospital. He is expected to be released sometime next month.
