Some families got together outside the home for their Thanksgiving meals. While they were enjoying the food and time together. We asked some local residents what they were thankful for this holiday and many had similar feelings to share.
Many said that health, family and friends are most important. Some added that they are thankful for the survivors of the 9-11 tragedy as well as the nice weather. There were quite a few people who chose to eat Thanksgiving out this year and enjoy down home cooking at Tee Jaye’s Country Place. The staff there was hard at work but took some time out to give thanks as well.
