A former employee of Longaberger Company has sued the basket maker alleging that they used a promotional jingle, that he wrote two years ago, without permission. Gussie C. Miller who worked as a Longaberger audio/visual specialist for nine months, filed a copyright infringement lawsuit in U.S. District Court this week. Company officails used the jingle briefly in their internal promotional projects. Miller left the company in early 1999 over his refusal to agree to contract clauses concerning intellectual propery rights, including ownership of the jingle.
