The Zanesville Jaycees were out in full force earlier today to collect canned goods, clothing and toys for the Salvation Army. As C-Day kicked-off at 7AM, community members called WHIZ's radio station to share in the holiday spirit of giving. Only after being underway for only a half-an-hour, the response of those wanting to help spread the holiday cheer was already a good one. After a donation was called into the station, 20-members of the Zanesville Jaycees hit the road to pick up their loads. C-Day is truly a charitable event that touches the heart of all who participate. Thanks to the community's generosity, the Jaycees were able to collect over 200 donations.
