The Southeastern Medical Center in Cambridge is keeping their committment to quality care by opening a new childbirth center. On Sunday, supervised tours of the completed center was given to the public. A vision of what on staff doctors and nurses thought a maternity ward should be had finally become a reality. Equipped with state of the art deliver rooms, home-like private patient rooms amd a nursery, the hospital feels that they are now able to better serve the community. The childbirth center will be fully operational by the end of this month.
