An innovative project hopes to provide a clean, safe, and educational daycare center that will benefit both the child and parent. In a meeting of organizers today, the final preparations were made for the Grand Opening of Carrytown. This unique daycare center is the brainchild of both the Zanesville Metro Housing authority and the non-profit day care center – Carreystreet. The designers of the facility wanted to surround the children in a make-believe town layout. Carreytown will be open to the entire community. It’s designed to care for infants and children up to 12 years old – with the emphasis being on education. Careytown is tentatively scheduled to open it’s doors on January 7th, with the grand opening ceremony on January 23rd.
