A pharmacy that has been in the Zanesville community for over 20 years will be closing its doors. After this coming Wednesday, Shirley's Pharmacy located on Maple Avenue will no longer be serving the community. Tom Fulkerson, who also serves as the store's pharmacists, has owned the store since 1979. He says that he decided to sell the pharmacy in order to take things a little slower. Although Fulkerson has no regrets in his decision to close the pharmacy, he has become very found of the people that he ahs served. And he hopes to continue to serve them at his new location.
