The stress of the holidays can cause problems at home. The joy of the season is sometimes erased by domestic violence, but one non-profit organization can help. Common cents tries to break the cycle of violence in everyday life. They have started a healing group to help women who are dealing with domestic violence. The focus will not only be on education, but on a creative outlet as well. The first healing group will be on January 9th from 6 to 8 p.m. it’s open to anyone who would like to come. They need some community support to continue their cause. Fit you would like to help or if you want to receive help call 450-7459 or stop by 38 North 4th street in Zanesville during the week from 9 until 5.
