A woman who was shot in three times in the back and head at a school bus garage on Wednesday died early this morning. Officials at Good Samaritan Medical Center issued a statement announcing the death of 41-year old Deborah Law. She had been listed in critical condition since the shooting occurred. Investigators say Law, a school bus driver, was shot by 59-year-old Ronald L. Melvin Sr., the Zanesville City Schools District's head maintenace foreman. Workers at the garage say Melvin chatted with them before he strolled into the bus compound, drew a pistol and shot Law before turning the weapon on himself. It is not known what specifically led to the shootings.
