The Olympics are hitting closer to home than we think. In the small quaint town of Granville is an Olympic gold hopeful. Her name…Lea Ann Parsley. Lea Ann was a popular resident of the community long before she earned a place on the U.S skeleton sled team. The 33 year old leads an interesting and adventures life. A firefighter since she was 16 years old. Parsley was given the firefighter of the year award for rescuing a mother and her teenager daughter from a burning house. She earned a nursing degree at the University of Virginia, a masters degree in nursing at O-S-U and is currently working on her doctorate in community health at Ohio State. Best of luck to her next week.
