It was a day to celebrate as the United Way Agency held its 2000-2001 campaign wrap-up event. A luncheon was held at Genesis Heathcare Bethesda campus to thank all volunteers, employees and everyone who was involved in the success of the yearly campaign. United Way received a huge donation of $85,000 from the Muskingum Valley Fisherman’s Association, after the club dissolved and sold their property, and split the saving and checking account funds. The United Way of Muskingum, Perry and Morgan counties would like to thank everyone involved in this year’s campaign. The agency topped their goal and raised over 1.2 million dollars and is up ten percent from last year. A goal for next year will likely be set this summer.
