The 3 day long boil advisory that affected 13 hundred water customers, has been lifted. But only for the Zanesville area, the residents who are tapped into the East Muskingum Water Authority are still under a boil advisory. Just as some Zanesville residents were reaching the boiling point, the ban was lifted at 5 Saturday evening. Water superintendent Bob Pletcher said the Zanesville tests, came back negative. But one sample for East Muskingum tested positive. Residents that live north and east of the city and receive a green bill are reminded to boil their water for at least 3 minutes.
