Detectives from the Guernsey County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at a home near Cambridge which resulted in the arrest of an area resident and the seizure of more that 30 marijuana plants. According to Guernsey County Sheriff Mike McCauley, detectives received a tip regarding an indoor marijuana garden at the residence and a search warrant was executed. Inside the home, detectives say they found a very high quality indoor marijuana grow operation throughout the residence. As a result, 49-year old Nicholas Lengen was taken into custody, and numerous marijuana plants were seized along with the equipment to grow the plants. Lengen was charged with felony 3 cultivation.
