The East Muskingum Water Authority has finally lifted the boil order for all of its customers in the Zanesville area. Last week the city discovered a major water main break at the Lear Corporation plant on Linden avenue. As a result water customers were asked to boil their water before consuming. The East Muskingum line was not directly involved, but precautionary tests turned up a bad sample and forced the boil advisory. East Muskingum water officials had to sample twice on two different days, and then send in the test samples. Now all the tests have come back and the boil order has been lifted for all customers.
