A handful of adults attended class in hopes of one day teaching a class of their own. Due to a shortage of substitute teachers, The Ohio University-Zanesville is holding a two day substitute teacher training workshop. For two consecutive saturdays, degreed participants will cover topics that will allow them to function effectively in the classroom. Participants will also learn the process of becoming a substitute teacher through background checks, fingerprinting and filing the correct forms.
