A well-known Zanesville newspaper reporter is in the hospital. A truck in downtown Zanesville hit the Times Recorder’s Peggy Matthews this morning. The full sized Shelly and Sands truck plowed into Matthew’s and knocked her about thirty feet from the site of the accident. It happened at the corner of 4th and Main Street, Matthews was walking in the crosswalk while the truck was making a left turn. Matthews was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital, and initial reports indicate that she is suffering from leg injuries.
