Donned in pink bunny ears and winter coats area residents lined up to participate in Wal-Marts attempt at a world record. By mid-morning Wal-Marts parking lot was filled with people ready to register and hop their way into the Guiness Book of world records. Forming a line that wrapped around the empty lot next to Wal-Mart the bunny hoppers were well on their way. To break the record they needed over 1 thousand 2 hundred 50 people. A little over 7 hundred people participated in the bunny hop. Also the local Veterans of Foreign War organization presented Wal-Mart with a check for 5 thousand dollars for the Children’s Miracle Network.
