The round up of suspected drug dealers continues, in the biggest raid ever in Muskingum County. 34 of the 42 people named in a federal indictment have been captured and more are planning to turn themselves in. Chief Eric Lambes said today that they aren’t done yet, and he vows that more arrests will be made. Chief Lames added that this bust proves that most of the major crime and prostitution in Zanesville is related to the drug trafficking. The chief also said that those indicted appeared before the federal court and are back in town awaiting their court hearing. He is confident that the federal sentencing will help to put the drug dealers behind bars for a longer period of time.
