A long standing tradition in the city of Zanesville will have a little twist to it this year. To help raise money for the Alfred S. Carr Center, along with the annual cake auction, area school aged children will be lighting the way in order to become listed in the Guiness Book of World Records. For a four dollar donation, the students will try to get over 3 thousand candles on a cake that will be in the shape of the "Y" bridge. The cake, which will be baked by the Muskingum Area Technical College culinary art students, will be presented on the last day of the auction. The candles will be lit and extinguished by the Zanesville Fire Department.
