It was a feline rescue attempt in Zanesville on Tuesday. A man tried to save his cat, and the fire department ended up saving him.
John Rimel got stuck in a tree near 1051 Heber street while trying to get his family's cat down. He was stuck 15 feet off the ground for around 25 minutes. The Zanesville Fire Department arrived and brought him back to the ground.
If this type of thing ever happens to you, fire officials have a suggestion...place food at the bottom of the tree and wait for the cat to come down.
