A man with only one leg managed to save himself and his two sons from a house fire early Monday morning. The Crooksville fire department says the fire happened at 13013 Possum Hollow road around 1:30 in the morning. It took four fire crews to put out the fire. The owner of the home, James Wilson was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital and treated for smoke inhalation, his two sons were not hurt. Fire crews are continuing to investigate the cause of the fire, but Chief Denny Dew says the cause is most likely electrical. Chief Dew says the house was destroyed. The Muskingum Valley Red Cross is assisting the family.
