Working toward a better future for the people of Appalachian Ohio, that’s what at least 120 people are hoping to do through a charity summit held today at the Prichard Laughlin Civic Center. Summit organizers say they care about the community, the value of neighbors and giving. By building awareness and increasing the activity of local giving special speakers shared messages about the importance of area resources. The summit included all 29 counties in the Appalachian region.
