Now that the bond issue has passed, the construction for new schools in Zanesville can begin. Superintendent Mike Pockl thanked the community for their support. He then talked about the building process and where the new buildings will be. The current high school campus will be the site for new middle schools, and Grover Cleveland is a possible site also. There are not any sites chosen in the east as of now, but Superintendent Pockl indicated that the school board is looking at different sites. Before any sites are chosen, the community will be able to voice their opinions and suggestions. Phase one of the building process is projected to be completed by May, 2005.
